The city is really two lawn markets. The established neighborhoods near downtown and off Santa Fe have mature trees, decent soil and turf that’s been there for decades — those lawns want consistent mowing height and a real fertilization program. The newer subdivisions west toward Cedar Creek and out past K-7 are mostly young sod over compacted construction clay, and those properties benefit enormously from aeration in the first few years.
JOCO Outdoors has been working in Johnson County since 2020. We keep our routes tight and local on purpose — it’s what lets us hold service days consistent, respond quickly when something needs attention, and send crews who already know the property.
